Many years ago when I was just 4 years old I had an great experience with my parents while they were in the process of buying a home. I just happened to be the lucky child of many that they brought with them to look at a home. The Real Estate Lady met us at the door and asked me to be her ‘assistant’. She made the house come alive with the descriptions of every room and encouraged me to play ‘show and tell’ with my parents. I gleefully did so and felt so proud. That was the day I became a Real Estate Lady! And here I am, 28 years into my real estate career.
To this day I enjoy working with my clients in the selling or buying of a home. A home is a special place. It’s a place where memories are made, where kids grow up, where families gather, where lives are lived. It brings me great joy to find the perfect home for a client or to make the home selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Whenever I hand over the keys to a happy buyer or a closing check to a happy seller, it is one of the best moments of my job.
When people are happy and pleased at the end of the process (as well as during the process) I know I’ve done my absolute best. That is a good feeling and that is why I love my profession. I get to help people.
